I don't think this is implemented yet. If I recall correctly, this is
the one feature left that needs to be implemented before we can remove
the whineatnews.pl script (because you'll then be able to do everything
it does from the full-featured whining controls).

    "assigned_to" "equals" "%user%"
    AND
    "status" "equals" "NEW"

Then, schedule the whining report to go to each user in some group that
has all users (like editbugs in a default installation)

Does that mail people an empty report if there's no results for them, or
does it skip people that don't have results?

    Should skip

  6. Re: whining - how to send email to bug assignee

Where exactly do I set the %user% stuff ? I can see that I should send email
to perhaps the editbugs group or something like that but where do I specify
the assignee information ? i.e where in that whine schedule ?

Also while I am on the subject of whining, there appear to be two ways to
    specify time/schedule:

    - one via the whine schedule and the other.

    - the time/scedule specified by the cron job.

How are they related ? It is not clear. It seems to me that perhaps the cron
job is what determines how often the mail goes out. Does the whine schedule
determine how often the query is made ?

  7. Re: whining - how to send email to bug assignee

Is the following supposed to be part of the advanced search ?

    > "assigned_to" "equals" "%user%"
    > AND
    > "status" "equals" "NEW"

If I use editbugs as the email group, does it actually not send to everyone
    on the list then ?
