What about firefox/seamonkey on DSL? - Mozilla
This is a discussion on What about firefox/seamonkey on DSL? - Mozilla ; I've heard that Firefox is setup for 56k modems and can be modified for DSL by going in to the about :config and playing with settings. Can/Should this be done with Seamonkey? If so how? TIA Eric...

If so how? I think you have been misinformed. If either Seamonkey or Firefox (or any other internet application) is not finding your default gateway you have a different problem. He's probably referring to concurrent page requests/pipelining. I have no opinion on it as it seems to be working just fine for me set at the default. -sw |

The connection type will however determine download speeds. |
