If I go to about :config there are a bunch of strings defined as above
pointing to web sites from _years_ ago! I'm wondering what they're for
and how I can safely reset or delete them.

If I go to about:config there are a bunch of strings defined as above
pointing to web sites from _years_ ago! I'm wondering what they're for
and how I can safely reset or delete them.
Note, if I go to "Go:History" I only see fairly recent sites (as I'd expect)

interesting. I can't find that line, and I've had my profile going back
to the Moz 1.x days. And I can't find any reference to them

Maybe they got carried over from my old Netscape 4! I might just hit
reset on all of them.

Ahhh, there they are, in Net 4.8. Yes, I've got a bunch of them too,
and they seem to be sites I've visited. Anyways, I sure don't have them
in Moz 1.7.13, SM 1.0.6, or FF 2.0.x
