I don't think that posting a question to a web based forum and to a
    newsgroup constitutes multi posting.

    Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8)
    Gecko/20051218 SeaMonkey/1.0b Mnenhy/0.7.3.0

I'm on the 1.0b release, on a Mac, and I have the same problem. It does
work in TB 1.5 RC2, for whatever that's worth.

    Thanks Lee,

It also seems to work in 1.7.12 and previous Moz versions. Have not
tried the LATEST nightly (SM) , but tried several with no success.

Maybe a bug, but I can't find anything.

Thanks Frank - I saw that bug report, and the comments - now if I can
just figure out HOW to apply the patch..........
    I can't find that -- statement
    --- mailnews/base/resources/content/mailContext
    in
    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051219
    SeaMonkey/1.0b ID:2005121900

Maybe I am just over my head

    but thanks again

You should just wait for it to be checked in and download a newer nightly...

Yeah that's the best idea, manually applying a patch is nothing for a
normal user ;-). It should not take so long until you'll find the patch
in Trunk, in SeaMonkey 1.0 Branch i don't know for sure (but it also
    should not take that long).
