Network cards
I have Compaq NC 3121 network card with Intel SB 82558B chipset. It
isn't supported in
Minix3 althought it is from FXP chipset's group. I 've made trial to
substitute it with 82559 in
fxp.c as it was told here for 82550 chipset but it doesn't help.
I' ve got the message:
fxp_set_timer: calling sys_setalarm for 148 (now+60)

Starting daemons: update cron syslog.
Starting networking: dhcpd nonamed.

Is there any way to overcome this situation?

My guess is that there is something wrong with the network cable/connection.

That was it. Done. The faulty Monk was turned out into the desert where it
could believe what it liked, including the idea that it had been hard done
by. It was allowed to keep its horse, since horses were so cheap to make.
