Thread: Boot question

  1. Boot question

After booting M3 on my laptop (without inet) I see in the messages:

    Dec 5 10:58:33 jvdsys: pci_intel_init (warning): unknown PCI-controller:
    Dec 5 10:58:33 jvdsys: vendor 8086 (Intel), device 1130
Dec 5 10:58:33 jvdsys: (warning) unsupported ISA bridge 8086/244C for bus 0
Dec 5 10:58:33 jvdsys: Boot medium driver: AT driver mapped onto controller c0.

However, everything seems to be working fine ?

Eventually (in a future release), those warnings have to go. Knowing the
PCI controller or the ISA bridge doesn't seem to be required.

These codes are not included in the list of PCI devices. Apparently
your motherboard has a variant of the intel devices.
You can try to add the codes to the tables in the file
    /usr/src/drivers/libpci/pci_table.c and rebuild the drivers.
