16 December - Personal Computer Upgrade & Repair Clinic

The Washington Area Computer User Group (WAC) will host a free Personal
Computer Upgrade & Repair Clinic for the public on Saturday, December
16, 2006.

The meeting will start with a short program on protecting your computer,
particularly from some of the perils on the Internet.

WAC experts and volunteers will be on hand to help you with virus and
spyware removal, hardware and software installations, including
operating systems. You must contact us in advance to discuss your
computer's symptoms, or advise what hardware or software you'd like help
installing or troubleshooting. You must bring your complete system: CPU,
monitor, keyboard, mouse. Please refer to the clinic ground rules at

The computer clinic is scheduled for 12:30 to 3:30 PM on Saturday,
December 16 at the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government
Center Parkway, Fairfax, Virginia (see map and directions at
http://www.wacug.org/map.html). WAC meetings are free and open to the
