  1. Windows Update wiped out USB ports. Ideas?

Wierd. A fairly recent W2k machine, lots of ram and disk, ran Windows
Update last night (only 10 patches needed), and on rebooting, the USB
devices weren't recognized, and couldn't be added. Reboots find the USB
ports, but says "incorrect driver" and refuses to add them. Network
access is ONLY via USB (wireless device), so can't even try to run
    Windows update again.

    Any ideas?
    Tia!!

    Yikes. That totally stinks!

Which updates might have done it do you think?
