Startup unknown program

Win 98SE in the Startup Configuration there is
this setting. KB 891711------C:\Windows\System\KB891711\KB891711.exe.
Any ideas what this is?
Will it be safe to uncheck it?

Perhaps yes, perhaps no. It's a Windows update file.
