Linux is the cause of most of the spam today.

Most open relays are running Linux/unix.
Most exploitable CGI form processor hosts are running Linux.
Sendmail default installation is flawed, allows relaying.

You can bitch moan and whine, but you cannot hide the fact that 99% of
the spam today is either generated or advertising sites hosted on
servers located in netblocks assigned to China, Korea, ....etc, and
    these idiots using Linux.

These are facts not ravings of a stupid Linux retarded advocated
illiterate doofus Like "Dr alw" or Terry or any other jackass that
    dances in comp.os.linux.advocacy.

    LOL!
That's not been a "default" installation setting for well over 4 years.
    Probably much longer.

So what viruses are infecting Linux machines today, turning
    them into mindless zombies?

    I'm curious.

(I just had to leave in the "facts" and ravings of a stupid retarded
"advocated"(sic) illiterate doofus WinDOS-user who is dancing around
with an awful lot of anger over something s/h/it refuses to use)

    Mostly it's Windoze users.

Most of them either are viruses or they're carriers.

Just like viruses, there's no real cure for them. All one can do is
become innoculated against them as much as possible.

    > I'm curious.

Not me. I'd rather not know! But they're like warts: you get 'em, you
put stuff on 'em and think they're gone, then one day you wake up and
scratch yourself, it feels like sandpaper has been rubbed across your
ass, you look and see they're back just like they were before you made
'em go away the last 32 times.

I agree that there's a fair amount of anger here. :-) Certainly
his "facts" seem to be little more than wishful thinking.

    IMO, anyway.

I was hoping he'd answer the question, but you're absolutely
right: the press makes far more noises about Windows viruses
being a threat because they *are* more of a threat; Ramen
got a mention but that's about it, and it was quickly dealt
with. Contrast that to Klez and Nimda, which AFAIK are
    still running amuck.

Ramen's the only virus I know about in Linux that could even
be mentioned in the same breath as Klez or Nimda (Bliss didn't do
much), and its target audience was rather limited.

Well, put that way, perhaps I'm not quite as curious.
However, if Mister NotWantedSpambot knows of Linux
infectious agents/malware/viruses, I'm certainly curious as
to what they are, especially since it might help identify
    his world's sky color. :-)

    But that's about it.

No. Retarded 'administrators' who leave the configs' open so their
supposed friends can send mail through are the reason. That includes
Windows, Linux, MacOS, etcetera admins. Because there is always someone
    stupid enough.
