2009.0 and KDE - Mandriva

This is a discussion on 2009.0 and KDE - Mandriva ; I just id a fresh install of 2009.0. How do I get KDE3 (KDE4 is too different for my liking)? Thanks, Harvie...

    Are you booting to run level 3, or run level 5?

    Assuming you are using run level 3, with kde 3 installed,
    "startx KDE" will go to kde 3.5.9.

    .... but he tells why he doesn't like that method.

    I am using run level 3 Dave, but I don't have KDE 3 installed. Do I simply
    urpmi kde3.5.9 ?

    Try "urpmi task-kde3".
