FYI: Adobe Shockwave Flash 10.0 r12 RC2 is out
flashplayer 10.0 RC2 is out.
This is a prerelease version of the Adobe® Flash® Player 10 software
for Windows, Macintosh, and Linux platforms. It is being made
available for developers and consumers to test their content to ensure
new features function as expected, existing content plays back
correctly, and there are no compatibility issues.

This latest flash RPM installs via double click just fine, and works
with some sites but some don't work and say you need to install the
latest version of flash including Adobe's site :-) but there were no
dependency issues with OpenSuse 11.0 or Mandriva 2008.1 and 2009
cooker.

Yep, you need to find the Contact Us for the site and report the problem.
I finally got http://news.bbc.co.uk/ to quit complaining about rev level.
It is stupid for the programmer/coder to test "less than equal" instead
of plugin release level greater than some minimum release level.

Oh, now that is funny.

Hopefully it does the following:
1) Works on 64 bit system.
2) Is easy to install on 64 bit system, no voodoo needed with
nspluginwrapper
3) FINALLY fixes the memory leak.
4) Does not take sh*t load of processing cycles just for watching flash
content.
Ideally, is a proper 64 bit Flash player, but hold out no hope of that,
like waiting years for a 64 bit browser plugin from Sun for Java (despite
the 64 bit Java being available for a looong time).
