  1. KDE Bluetooth pin

    To all,

It seems the pin-helper problem is back. (Mandriva 2008.1)

KDE Bluetooth will find my bluetooth mobile phone, but will not ask for
    a pin.

    uname -a gives:

    Linux localhost 2.6.24.4-desktop586-1mnb #1 SMP

(The mobile phone asks for a pin, after that the pc doesn´t).

Has anyone had any succes solving this (perhaps by updating a Bluetooth
    related package?)

    Thanks,

    G.C.

You might want to try the kernel version 2.6.24.5-1.

I don't have any bluetooth devices here. See in any of the comments from

    To all,

Might as well help someone else out, so here it is:

I haven't done this yet, I chose to persue the lead below as a first step:

This lead me to the solution proposed by Moreno.:

    Installed: bluez-pin-0.30-6mdv2008.0.i586.rpm

Pin is now asked for and Bluetooth is working for me now.

    Thanks!

And i find BT pin somewhere in /etc dir.
It seems to be 1234 by default.
