Looking like your system is not on around 4am Sundays.
You can manualy update the database by clicking up a terminal
    su - root
    /etc/cron.daily/mlocate.cron
    /etc/cron.weekly/slocate.cron
    depending on your release.

    do a
    ls -al /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libjavaplugin_oji.so
    ls -al /home/dale/.mozilla/plugins/libjavaplugin_oji.so
    and see where they point.

and if not the same, put aboutlugins in your browser url box to see
    which one is used.

you can always exit the browser, rm link_of_choice_here, fireup your
browser and check aboutlugins to see if it still sees the other
    link.

If you have not been dinking around with scripts, usually,
    /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins is checked before $HOME/
