  1. I suspect many potential open source converts are left cold by discussions that border on the religious

Much of the debate about open source has been in technical terms, or
increasingly in political terms. I'm not criticising either approach,
but I suspect many potential open source converts are left cold by
discussions that border on the religious in their fervour. What many
companies really need is a direct and clear discussion about the
tangible benefits of open source, without the political baggage.

Red Hat signs up UK services partner:
Surrey-based open-source consultancy Sirius has formalised its
    partnership with Red Hat.

Signing up for an advanced partner programme, Sirius says it wants to
formalise its relationship with the Linux specialist following Red
Hat's acquisition of middleware company JBoss.
Sirius already boasts a strong customer base, which includes the likes
of Pepsi and the Metropolitan Police. It will resell Red Hat's full
    enterprise portfolio.

The broken English, is great it makes me laugh so much I
end up with tears running down my face. They mean what
they are typing so seriously it is far better than the video.
The yanks come in to correct the Japanese, and Chinese,
and the Germans, with complete authority and totally
    get it completely wrong.

Have you noticed how the yanks with complete authority
try to tell all the others " the foreigners" what it means
and **** up the meaning completely.

I loved the bit about "he really did jump off a cliff in the real
    video".
