synthesis.hdlist.main.cz, and synthesis.hdlist.plf-free.cz. How does
this help me get the kernel source I need for 2007?

Though files are used to check against what you have installed.
If your were to click up a terminal
su - root
urpmi --update kernel
it should give you a list of new kernels to choose from in the event
urpmi has found a difference of kernel version.

BT:
All I want is the Mandriva Linux 2007 kernel source in order for the
NVIDIA driver can make and install itself. That way, I can have full 3D
desktop effects. Right now, I can't.

I think this would be better for the OP:
urpmi kernel-source
Or, the OP could use the GUI for installing new software and choose
"kernel-source" to install.
