A lot of questions in this group have been about problems with latency and task
switching related delays.

This seems to be a step forward:

Timer accuracy now 2 us (was 40ms), and latency 30us!

Wonder what the price is (need lots of hardware memory i suppose).
Also wonder how long it will be before these things will be available for free,
in the kernel, and maybe in opensuse.


And has anybody tried this?
A lot of hardware stuff can be done with these fast responses that you now
need an extra mcirocontroller or dedicated chip for.
