Dear Wintrolls, I'm dreadfully sorry my automatically generated webserver
stats aren't the way you'd like to see them, i.e. Windows 100.00%.
You can try and explain them away any way you like, but they are REAL,
from a real webserver connected to the Internet.
From my POV, Windows still has 71.6 % of the OS market, so Wintrolls,
enjoy it while it lasts.

Does anyone remember when Microsoft, by using every dirty trick in the

Most of the hits are from my wiki, which has no Windows content at all.
It's mostly Linux and some tech stuff.
But before the Wintrolls throw a party, 71% of the people looking at my
(mainly) Linux wiki, are *Windows* users.
I'd rather have 100% Windows users reading my wiki, they might see
something about Linux that they find interesting, but I'll settle for a
71%.

And these count? Wow! Normally morons like you say that web hits dont
count! More contradictions from Terry Porter. Do you never tire of
making a fool of yourself?
Of course you run a Linux centric web ... Even 7 could make a conclusion
from that.....
Why do you do this to yourself?

I don't see any Google Chrome / SRWare Iron browsers.
Are you able to identify them if they are used?
(SRWare Iron is compiled from the Google Chrome source, but is
modified so that it does not create unique user IDs, does not
send URLs to Google, does not tell Google when it is installed,
and doesn't use an ancient version of Apple's WebKit Engine..
See [ http://www.srware.net/en/ ] for details)

Terry would not recognise a telnet attack if it slapped him in the face
never mind report correct statistics.
Some things you should be aware of:
Terry's site is dedicated to Linux so a higher % of Linux is
inevitable. He, for some reason, doesn't see the significance of that.
People not using IE is not much of an issue since many Windows use
Opera, Firefox etc etc. It is not, as Terry suggests, an indication of
dwindling Windows usage.
Terry is a proven fabricator and story teller.
He tried telling use that FWBuilder does not exist for
Windows. No. Really. Look here:
http://www.fwbuilder.org/netcitadel/index.html
Amazing isn't it. The bottom line is this - Terry is a hard core MS
hater and can not be trusted to report anything dispassionately and
accurately. He gives a bad impression of real Linux users and advocates.

Mine says Vista @ 10% and GNU/Linux at over 33%. Even Mac OS X almost beats
Vista with 7.2 %. Heck, Ubuntu /alone/ beats Vista.

Hi Guy,
I'm not able to identify them, but perhaps they come under the following
stat ?
Versions Grabber Hits Percent
Unknown ? 21 0.2 %

Interesting times indeed!
To see Ubuntu kicking Vista arse is quite a sight. As the years roll by,
Windows market presence just shrinks and shrinks, and there seems to be
nothing Microsoft can do about it.
Evolution at work!
Windows ... which Linux distro do you wish you were running today ?

Maybe Linux XP? Vixta would never catch on because of the bad association.
BTW, this month's stats got skewed a little in Microsoft's favour 'cause I made
Slashdot's front page yesterday. Windows is typically lower than this.

It takes two people of monumentally stupid proportions to think for one
minute Linux is kicking Windows arse using stats from Linux orientated
web sites.
Interestingly Roy and his cronies totally denied that OS agnostic sites
like the BBC or (to a lesser degree because of its technical leanings)
W3Schools could provide ANY meaningful statistic based on browser ID.
Terry, you have proven yourself to be a fool once too often. Give it a
break old son.
