    Invalid premise. MS is actually rather a late comer to the game. Until the
    mid 80's they had no presence at all. Even until the early 90's they were
    a minor player and eclipsed by superior technology. They only became a
    player by stealing an OS, remarketing it and making a deal with IBM.
