Jesus! Linux just fails, even when it's not doing anything.

Whole family and friends love it!
I've been using Ubuntu-only for about a week now. very impressed and i have
learned a lot. my dad is also intrigued about the different file system and
computer workings in the terminal. And the fact we can load just about any
windows application through wine. he keeps asking me why Microsoft hasn't
    gone out of business!

the rest of my family likes the 3d special effects option, and they love
open office because it is much easier to use then MS word, and it can
export to a .doc to use at schools and stuff. They also enjoy the new look
it gave the computer and the freedom of browsing the internet without
    worrying about getting viruses.

I, like the new file system. Manually installing all the Nvidia drivers on
my friend's pc (he really loves it too) and it really got me warmed up to
Linux and what i should do when this happens and so on. I also like the
application loader and the wireless setup area at the top bar, displaying
signal strength and you can easily switch back and forth between
connections with a breeze. I also like how Ubuntu has basically automatic
drivers for computers. No need to install sound card drivers or motherboard
drivers - it is all automatic (with the exception of the vid card), and i
also like how customizable the system really is, and the ease of performing
    common tasks.

I will never go back to windows!

Another successful conversion windows > ubuntu.

    Hardware failure.

No. The crapware victim posted earlier in the thread that his Linux Ubuntu
    system crashes every 20 minutes.

Looks like some kind of a USB driver failure that the kernel doesn't know
    how to deal with.
