  1. I have been telling everybody you can't use linux to job hunt....

    One of the most common job boards, in the USA, is www.monster.com

    And, the job pages do not format correctly on my ubuntu/firefox
    combination.
    And Cola Loons say the page does not render correctly ... due to w3c
    validations.

    What you gonna do? You going to use Windows to apply for jobs, or,
    are you going to be a jobless linux user?

    The choice is yours.

    I'm a Linux user who works and who turned in his Word format resume for my
    current job using OpenOffice.

    I also accessed my TekSystems website (when I was still with TekSystems)
    using Linux.

    So, I guess, I'll go with Option #3 -- ditch the Psyc Geek FUD and just keep
    using Linux.

    BTW, are you a Windows user who is out of a job? How did that happen?

    Good luck.

    You are talking about one guy with one company.
    I am talking about the masses using Monster.
    Don't change the parameters from MANY to ONE.

    I feel sorry for your project.

    Strange, just did a search on Monster using FireFox in openSuSE. So what's
    YOUR problem?

    I feel sorry for your spouse, if you have one.

    I just went to the main page of monster (not the long link that PeeGee
    posted), and it seems to be working fine (Firefox 64-bit).

    So, at least at first, a Linux user won't see anything goofy at
    monster.com.
