I suggest you post your FAQ and charter information in response to Nessuno
and Roy Schestowitz, both who are totally off topic with their Microsoft
    ZUNE posts.

What does a ZUNE have to do with Linux?

Those posts are in violation of the charter you just posted.

Once again, HPT has proven himself/herself to be a hypocrite.

I suppose you mean I call "everything that is non-proprietary and
non-Windows-based crap". And that's because it's mostly true. I can think
of exactly 2 OSS products/categories that I consider equivalent or better to
    the best commercial products:

    Firefox browser
    text editors

    And a few maybes:
    * the Apache webserver, but in my limited use it was a pain to configure.
    * gcc compiler, though the proprietary Intel compiler is better in many ways

That's it. And even those are all highly debatable.

Of course I haven't used all available Linux apps, but I've tried quite a
few and it's my experience they don't nearly measure up to commercial
systems. And I'm not going to give Linux any welfare passes on quality and
features and documentation and stability like the "community" does.

As I've said before, the total control and flexibility Linux offers is
unmatched and very impressive, and is how I believe an operating system
should be architected. But it doesn't mean much in comparison to the
importance of apps and games and hardware support.

He really is, isn't he? A totally *useless* poster in every
respect. Running around like Corporal Jones in "Dad's Army" shouting
"Don't panic, don't panic" with his pompous little charter under his
arm. It's probably the regimental side coming out from his Chinese
    roots.

He reminds me of Niedermayer from the movie Animal House.

Shot by his own troops in Vietnam.

Who's more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows him?

    YOU are the fool.

    Unix crashes less.

....which is not a problem in a well controlled system.

This could be a production server, a POS system or a Macintosh.

OTOH, everything in an open project is "out there" for the world
to see. Compared to the bug list just one one commercial game,
all of this spam you've generated is not so impressive.

Take the bug database from every Windows vendor and combine that.

    Make it public.

That will be comparable to the Ubuntu bug tracker.
