It's Time for PCWorld to Change Its Name
,----[ Quote ]
| For the past 20 years the words PC and Windows were almost synonymous. Ask
| someone what kind of computer they owned, and if they said, "I have a PC,"
| then you knew they didn't own a Mac or Linux computer.
|
| Times have changed. The Eee PC has taken the world by storm. Apple is
| resurging with full force. Linux is here to stay -- and can only grow in use
| on desktops, cell phones and other mobile devices.

With Wine 1.0 on its way maybe there will be 'Win-compatible PCs' (or
Win-compatibles), just like IBM-compatibles (before IBM sank).

Acer: PC industry 'disappointed' with Vista
,----[ Quote
| Acer president Gianfranco Lanci became the first major PC manufacturer to
| openly attack Microsoft over the Windows Vista operating system in the
| Financial Times Deutschland on Monday. Â*
|
| Lanci said the operating system was riddled with problems and gave users and
| businesses no reason to buy a new PC, according to the report. Taiwan-based
| Acer is the world's fourth-largest PC manufacturer, after HP, Dell and
| Lenovo.
|
| "The whole industry is disappointed with Windows Vista," Lanci said.

You've posted this article to cola approx 100 times. You're unoriginal,
Spamowitz, just like the open source cloneware you think you're
"advocating."
Hey, have you met cola's own raytard? He posted his "I installed Linux on 5
systems at the local library" story to cola well over 100 times.

You hate that one, don't you? Good. I'll make an effort to cite it more often.
Thanks for the pointer.
