Is anyone actually following the Reiser case?
I'm just curious--is anyone actually keeping up on this?
Personally, I'm not planning on actively following it. I figure that,
from what I have seen, it has enough interesting points that after it is
over, whichever way it comes out, there will be an episode of "New
Detectives" on Discovery that covers it, or if not that show, one of the
many similar shows on other cable networks.
My expectation is that will both be more interesting, and more accurate,
than the coverage I'd get if I followed the case in the press (or worse,
followed it via the troll attempts it is used for here).

Is it being covered in the press much? I haven't seen many mentions
other than here. I know innocent until proven guilty and all, but it
looks pretty open and shut.

It is a sordid affair, and somewhat disturbing, even if he were not the
author of a Linux filesystem.
What a terrible life. I imagine digging into code was quite comforting
for him at times.

Lying idiot.
In fact, I've said before, from the evidence I've heard from various
places, he is *probably* guilt of the crime.

Personally I don't believe anyone is guilty until proven so. Good to see
you disagree.

Where did I say that? I said, from the evidence, he's *probably* guilty.
NOt certainly, and you know very well I've had a go at DFDS for assuming
he *is* guilty.
