I want to buy a Linux based NAS device that can run cron jobs and will allow
ssh connections. The goal is to have a low-cost, low-powered server that's
always up. I have a behemoth of a workstation but it uses too much power
for what I need. All the machine needs to do is check RSS feeds and
occasionally download files. I have heard about the "Kuro Box" and
Linksys's NSLU2 but I know there's got to be some more options. Does anyone
have an opinion as to what machine to buy or actually build?
