Since the link to my posting was included in Doug's post, and it shows
exactly the statements that I say were in the post, don't you feel
rather stupid now? Or are you using a definition of vapor that doesn't
match what everyone else uses?

What snippage?

That's nice. Here's what I was quoting:
http://www.digg.com/linux_unix/rPath...embly_required
That Roy changed the material when he recycled it to his own site
several days later is irrelevant, since I don't read his site regularly.

Can you address the point, HPT? You claimed that I was not telling the
truth about my original posting. I showed you the link to it. What is
there matches exactly what I said I said.
Can you admit you were wrong, or do you want to try to hide behind more
ASCII graphics?

Liar. I like the truth. If Tim is correct, then why should he not recieve
an apology? Or are advocates excused from being honest? And what does
Hadron have to do with this?

[22 irrelevant lines snipped]
So that would be a "no", right? You can't address the point, which is
that you were blatantly wrong when you claimed my original post didn't
say what I said it said.

For one, FUDboi, I will not play your silly word games.
Going back you your first message, you talk in circles.
I see Doug did some creative snipping. Let's restore the parts
he snipped, so as to see my complete statement, shall we?
You accuse Doug of creative snipping, yet you are one of the
worst offenders.
Then you add your cute little trollish punch line:
Glad to see you've finally come around, HPT, and recognized Roy
as a FUDboi.
by putting words in my mouth, which was not my intent.
I attempted to steer the discussion toward advocacy of Linux.
Rather than you discussing items in line with the charter of
comp.os.linux.advocacy, "For discussion of the benefits of Linux
compared to other operating systems", you engage in your personal
rants against individuals on issues outside of c.o.l.advocacy.
Thus, I see no further reason to carry on this topic. This is my
last reply to you in this thread.

Apologise for what? Are you unable to comprehend? Timmy
continues his off-topic rants against individuals for posts
outside of c.o.l.advocacy, and now you want me to apologise.
You really are naive, aren't you.

And I then quoted the full message, which *Doug* gave a link to,
which showed his creative snipping. You didn't actually click
the link he gave, did you?

When you thought that I was quoting Erik, you thought it was FUD. But
now that you know that Doug was wrong, and I was quoting Roy, suddenly
you don't think it is FUD? How come if Erik says Red Hat purposefully
makes mistakes to sell support, it is FUD, but if Roy says it, it is
not?
....

No surprise there, as you have thoroughly embarassed yourself in this
thread. Next time, try actually reading the links posted by people,
and maybe you won't have to turn tail and slink away.

What you accused him of was untrue. He proved it was untrue. You owe him
an apology.

No, I'm not. I'm sick of advocates who can't be honest.

No, I'm not. And you seem to be admitting that you are not honest. The
truth is the truth, whether or not uttered by someone you claim
erroneously to be a troll.

I don't think that it would make him a troll
Sure, Erik Funkenbusch claims he is here to "keep us honest". Which is about
the biggest load of bull**** imaginable, since it comes from a lying,
extremely dishonest twit
Hadron Quark has claimed similar bull. We all know what one can think of
that guy. Pond scum is less filthy
But what is wrong with wanting "honest advocates"? After all, Mark Kent is
about the worst "advocate" here regarding "honesty". He is not honest
And saying that some "advocates" are not honest makes one a troll?
I propose calling those "advocates" something else. Not "advocates", because
they aren't. Mark Kent certainly isn't. He may think that he is one, but
dishonesty and advocacy don't really mix
That is also one of the reasons Erik Funkenbusch, DFS, billwg or Hadron
Quark are so dispised here. They are dishonest, so their credibility is
about zero.
You can't have it both ways

Poor High Plains Rafael - The best he can do is resort to a pathetic little
"plinque" and run away like the dishonest coward that he is.

I posted something that said X and Y. Doug quoted it, leaving out Y.
Doug posted the link to the original post.
I then said Doug snipped, and that I had also said Y.
Then you claim that I never said Y and was making it up.
Since all you have to do is click the link Doug posted to see that I did
originally say both X and Y, how is it Kier that has a reading
comprehension problem?
Here's a tip for you: when you want to lie about something, pick
something that can't be checked by a single click on a link that is
included in the original post.
