Micoshaft sales have plummeted to less than
one third of all OS sales in Japan.

    Linux is distributed not sold.
Don't pay for any reports that fails to acknowledge that point!!

Linux is now going like hot cakes.

At least one million new Linux desktops per month and the rate is
    accelerating.

Your stats are an incorrect representation of use. No one *buys* a free
    operating system.

You are once again mis informed.

What else would you expect from a putz who wanders again and again into
a Linux newsgroup and calls the topic matter "LinTard"?

He wouldn't do such stuff in meat space, that's for sure. At least, he
wouldn't do it more than once.

Let's say Jan 2007 there were 600,000,000 Windows desktops, and 20,000,000
    Linux desktops.

At the rate of 1,000,000 new Linux desktops per month (assuming 0 new
Windows users and each new Linux desktop == one less Windows desktop), Linux
will match Windows desktops sometime in 1Q 2031 (24 years hence).

    And that's being optimistic.
