  1. xhost SuSE 9.2

    Hi,

    i have the following Problem:
    (both running SuSE 9.2 Pro and KDE)

    hostA: echo $DISPLAY
    -> :0.0
    hostA: xhost +
    hostB: export DISPLAY=IP_ADRESSE_OF_hostA:0.0
    hostB: xclock
    -> Error: Can't open display: IP_ADRESSE_OF_hostA:0.0

    SuSEfirewall2 is down (via YAST2)
    Iptables is set to allow all!
    /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager -> DISPLAYMANAGER_REMOTE_ACCESS="yes"

    ?!?!?

    Any idea whats wrong?

    Thanks
    Florian

    By reading some conf Files i found the solution

    just replace the following entry in /etc/X11/xdm/Xservers
    :0 local /usr/X11R6/bin/X -nolisten tcp -br vt7
    with
    :0 local /usr/X11R6/bin/X -br vt7
    restart X and everything is fine
