Hello group

I'd like to access a SATA drive. How do I proceed?

I have a Dell Dimensions 4600 machine which has a SATA drive for the
Windows hard disk. I am running the 2.6.7 kernel using a SCSI controller
and dedicated SCSI disk.

I'd like to have access to the SATA drive. At present, there is no
mention of a SATA controller in the dmesg boot messages.

The only listing for SATA in lspci is:
00:1f.2 Class 0106: Intel Corp. I/O Controller Hub SATA cc=raid (rev 03)

How do I proceed?
