Hi,

Please can someone help me with this?

I need to be able to write out the content of a Kernel Panic message
onto a log file ( or /var/log/messages ) whenever the system panics
during a power up ( Reboot ).

I know that once the machine is up, /proc/sys/kernel/panic=60 will
reboot the machine automatically after 60 seconds, which is good,
but (1) does this apply to when the machine is powering up too?
and if so, (2) how do I get the panic message dumped to file?

Thanks v. much
