  1. Log file watcher for X

    Hello group,

I'm working on some changes in the XWatch [1] program (a log file
    watcher for X).

Before I start to implement features other programs might already have,
can you tell me what open-source graphical log watcher tools you know
    of?
    I'm not looking for `xterm -e 'tail -f /var/log/messages'` solutions or
other programs that run in a terminal emulator under X.

I've never known anyone to use a GUI for logfile monitoring; it seems rather
absurd on the face of it. Why waste screen real estate on such things?
