PVFS2 Linux Kernel complie issue

Hi everyone.

I have been working for weeks trying to compile his PVFS2 kernel, can anyone help?

I have been following these instructions here where the same issue is Im pretty much at a dead end, can you suggest an alternative or another way of doing this?
