Thread: Not able to do a make of Kerberos 5

  1. Not able to do a make of Kerberos 5

    Dear Kerberos Team
I downloaded Kerberos 5 on my Solaris 9
OS on AMD machine with x86 architecture. I am able to
run configure but not do make successfully. I am using
bash shell. Please help. I give the details below.
    Thanks
    Biswatosh

    DETAILS:
    I downloaded from MIT's site krb5-1.4.1-signed.tar
and untarred it and got krb5-1.4.1 directory made.
    I did cd krb5-1.4.1;cd src;./configure. It was
successful. I did make, it went for some time and
stopped. Here is the snap shot of the make problem.

This is almost always due to failure to include /usr/ccs/bin in your
PATH, resulting in configure being unable to find the "ar" program.
