KDE4 (3.97.1) and Flash in SeaMonkey, shadow effect covering screen
I have installed KDE4 release candidate 2 on my amd64 install, built
from source. There are of course a lot of things I do miss, but that for
another time. The main problem I have is that I get the shadow effects
for "widgets" placed on my screens upper left corner, the same size as
the flash area in the SeaMonkey. The draw back is that the effect is
always on top, which makes that the affect covers the browser window and
you don't see what you wish to see.
Anyone else been testing KDE4 and know how to get around this bug.
flash = the Linux x86 flash plug-in from Adobe, version 9.0 r48
also using npwrapper to be able to use the 32bit plug-in on a 64bit browser.

Re: KDE4 (3.97.1) and Flash in SeaMonkey, shadow effect coveringscreen
I have made a small bug report about this
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=154133
I did also uninstall the KDE4-rc2, as it was far from a product I would want
to use, I'll see if 4.1/4.2 will be any better than KDE3.5, if not, then I
guess it will be a move back to ctwm on all my systems.
