KDE is looking for resources such as MIME type files, service descriptions =
and=20
ioslaves in several direcories

kde-config --path module

for example will list the paths for ioslaves (and other plugin like librari=
es)

The list can be expanded by setting KDEDIRS for example

export KDEDIRS=3D/usr:/usr/local

Cheers,
Kevin
