This is a discussion on how to change default that all job logs are saved? - IBM AS400 ; how do I change the default so that all job logs are stored upon signing off kind of like if you do that with the signoff command but user is in s36 environment where OFF is issued....

    Is[n't] OFF just a[n OCL] procedure that can be modified to effect
    SIGNOFF *LIST, since CL can be included in those procedures?

    no it isn't (or at least I could not find that).

    There is a CHGCMDDFT as OFF the book says runs signoff and so I had to
    modify the default for sign off.
