    hi,
i am working on a hp-ux11iv2 box which had a bit of a panic today when
the server used up all the file handles available. i want to be able to
    find out:
    - what number of file handles are being used (sar -v, glance can do
    this i know)
    - number and detail of file handles being used by a particular process
    - number and detail of file handles being used by a particular user (if
possible, if i can get per process information then i can script)
i'm aware of the lsof tool but need something else if possible; i'm
working in a corportate environment which may not allow the use of
useful tools like that as they are not hp-branded. in addition i do not
have root access (doing system comissioning). appreciate any
    assistance!

Nov 1 11:01:14 xxxxxx above message repeats 66 times
    Nov 1 11:01:14 xxxxxx ftpd[12374]: QUIT
Nov 1 11:05:00 xxxxxx vmunix: file: table is full
