VULNERABILITY SUMMARY:
A potential security vulnerability has been identified with HP-UX
running on Itanium platforms where, under certain conditions, a
specific stack size prevents proper operation.

This vulnerability could be exploited by a local authorized user
to create a Denial of Service (DoS).

REFERENCES:

SUPPORTED SOFTWARE VERSIONS*: ONLY impacted versions are listed.
Only HP9000 Servers running HP-UX release B.11.23 on Itanium
(IPF Architecture) platforms are affected.

Note: To determine if a system has an affected version, search
the output of "swlist -a revision -l fileset" for an
affected fileset or patch. Then determine if a fixed
revision or applicable patch is installed.

To address this issue, HP has made the following patches

Retrieve applicable patch and install using swinstall(1M).
