Is there a way to enable account lockouts after consecutive
unsuccessful login attempts without turning into a trusted system???
Also, is there a way to logout the user after a period of inactivity??
(trusted and standard systems).

Yes - you can just lock all the accounts to start with and save anyone
the effort of locking your accounts for you by making failed logins.
