Removal of PWHIST files?

Hi,

my trusted system (HPUX 11.23 IA64) was store in one of the folders in
/tcb .

Anyone know there is any adverse impact if I were to remove all files
in /tcb/files/auth/system/pwhist subdirectory?

I would like to zap all the history of the password changes.
This is one of requirement of the application acceptance tests.

Any help?
