Carter, Clinton, Obama...... (or as my mother says O'bana)

He's done nothing but run for office his entire political career.
Nobody listened to the socialist rhetoric that comes from him. Just
read his book and listen to his comments that are 'unscripted'.
Any how anyone can be elected to a leadership position when they vote
'present' over 100 times in a career as short as his. That's
    NOT leadership.

Thank GOD the Dems didn't get a 60 seat majority in the Senate. At
least we have a 'firewall' to stop the worst of their BS.

Yea it's going to be just great when they tap into all of our 401k's and
the Gov't take them over so he can spread the wealth to all. Like Shawn
said we're screwed. It's a sad day in the US!

He's going to be really surprised when he finds out the president
doesn't give very many speeches and has to actually make
decisions. Picking Rahm Emanuel first is a really good indicator of
how this is going to go. I'm just waiting for the Obama Youth (um,
civilian military force) to come by when my kids accidently say they
don't love Der Leader at school. It's already happening.

What I'm really anxious to see is as the dem's bankrupt the country
and pull back all military and foreign aid, how those europeans that
are cheering him right now will stand with their mouths open and
    their hands out.

Yes thank God, if only the Republicans could get a 60 seat majority in the Senate and the White House, then things would really change.

    Oops, ... Never mind.

    Terry,

Between you and me, I WAS a Republican... I now consider myself a conservative, and Republicans are anything BUT conservative.

Sorry, but living in the state of Oregon, there was no way I was going to vote for Mc Cain.

And Obama was simply out of the question.

  7. Re: OT: So who won the election?

I'm in the same boat. I'm a conservative, which the republicans
don't seem to be any more. Either they need a walk in the wilderness
or we need a new conservative party.
