    Hi,
    how do i solve a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations
    numerical with my Hp 50g?

    Problem (as example):
    i want to solve d1d1Y(x)+sin(x)=0 numerical.
    The manual only provides a sample for second order LINEAR diff eq by
    using a matrix with coefficients and a vector w (chapter 16) :-(.

    Now as the problem isnt linear i cannot just multiply a coeefficient
    matrix with the vector w, instead of it i tried to enter a directly a
    vector with accesing the members of the vector w directly

    -> [ 'w(2)' '-sin(w(1))']

    but it doesnt work as i get a "Invalid Syntax" error :-(

    Solving differential equations numerical is realy important for me, as
    i have to do it in exams, and i thought "bah TI is for kids i get an
    hp 50g" and now simple stuff like that doesnt work.

    i mean sin(y),
    Anyway: is there no way to solve systems of nonlinear differential
    equations numerical with the hp50g?
