I want to change the default keyboard layout to the swiss french one. I have
modified my XF86Config file but I still have the "us" layout. Without X I
have the "fr_CH" layout (default KEYMAP is set to "fr_CH" in
/etc/sysconfig/keyboard). Once X has been started, I have the "us" layout (I
use Gnome). I can change it with:

> setxkbmap -layout fr_CH


Then it is OK. Why is the "fr_CH" layout not automatically set as specified
in my XF86Config file:
