I think that I am leaninig towards using Mandrake. I was on the Mandrake
site and they offered the following types of downloads:

What is the difference, and which one should I download?
Also, below are some of the main specs of the pc that I will be working on
(if this would help with your answer)

mjt is right, you want to download the i586 ISO image. The first one
(Mandrake 9.2/i586) is for if you want to do an FTP install, and the
MandrakeMove ISO image is a CD-only distribution, i.e., you don't install
it on your hard drive (much like Knoppix).
