Frequency Scaling - Hardware
This is a discussion on Frequency Scaling - Hardware ; I have a 3.6 GHz Pentium D overclocked to 4.0 GHz. In openSUSE 10.2,
the frequency scaling just goes between 2.4 and 3.6. I have tried
echoing a larger number to
/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq, but it just
resets to 36000000. Any suggestions ...
