Hello,

I recently purchased a Dell Precision T5400 and installed an Adaptec
PCI-X 2230SLP SCSI controller. The Dell system is advertised as
having 100Mhz capable PCI-X slots and the Adaptec card is advertised
as being 133Mhz capable. Iím trying to determine the current bus
speed of this Adaptec card. The only tool that I've found so far to
check bus speed is lspci (pciutils v3.0.0). The output from "lspci -
vvv" follows for the PCI-X bridge and the Adaptec card:

The Adaptec card is the only card on the PCI-X bus and I have
verified
with Adaptec that the card will down clock to 100Mhz. My cause for
concern is that the first ďstatusĒ line for the Adaptec card shows
66Mhz. Could someone shed some light on how to interpret the lspci
output?
