Hmmm, and I thought it was virtual............. the fireplace, I mean..........
I don't know if it is true, or a rumor, but according to it, Bill doesn't
have any real paintings at home, but screen, where the art is projected onto.......
why would he then have a real fireplae?

Why is there no GEOS on the CD-ROM?

If Gates wanted GEOS, he would have already purchased it by now. Also, did I
miss something or does BBX have only an exclusive on GEOS licensing but not
the ownership. Therefore, they can not give it away or freely distribute the
    source without Geoworks' approval.

Not asking you to predict the future but tell us when you would throw up
your hands and admit its over. Doesn't have to be measuredtime like months
or years, but maybe an event.

  5. Re: known bug in sun's ensemble installer

Yup - that sale happened around 1 May 2003. Here's the summary SEC 8K
    filing...

"On May 1, 2003, Geoworks Corporation, a Delaware corporation (the
"Registrant"), issued a press release entitled "Geoworks Announces
Investment and Board and Management Changes." The text of the press
release and Stock Purchase Agreement dated April 30, 2003 between
Newcastle Partners, L.P., Mark E. Schwarz and the Registrant are filed
herewith as Exhibits 99.1 and 99.2, respectively, and are incorporated
herein by reference. The press release announced that the Registrant had
sold approximately 7.4 million newly issued shares of its common stock
to Newcastle Partners, L.P. and Mark E. Schwarz, an affiliate of
Newcastle, for $325,000. As a result, the purchasers now own 25% of the
Registrant's securities. In conjunction with the investment, two of the
Registrant's three board members resigned and Mr. Schwarz and Steven J.
Pully, both of Newcastle, were appointed to fill their board seats. In
addition, the remaining management team of the Registrant agreed to step
down. Mr. Schwarz and John Murray, also of Newcastle, will assume the
positions of CEO and CFO, respectively. The press release also provided
background information on Newcastle, Mr. Schwarz, Mr. Pully and Mr.
Murray and contained cautionary statements regarding the various risks
and uncertainties as described in the Registrant's filings with the
    Securities and Exchange Commission."

So, as far as I can tell, Geoworks is a nice little Delaware corporate
shell that doesn't do anything, and may be looking for some business to
    put into that corporate shell.

    John ;-)

It's my understanding that we can do pretty much whatever we want
regards Geos (but I'm an engineer, not a lawyer!). And that will
certainly be the case come the "undisclosed date" mentioned in the release.

Finally. You admit GEOS is dead. Otherwise it cannot rise from same. No
taking it back. You have written that GEOS is dead. Finally. 1st sane thing
    you've posted in years.
