    Hi Mario--

This is a known problem, and will hopefully be resolved shortly. In essence,
the v4 compatibility path for v6 socket is invoking the v4 code with locks
held that upset the v4 code.

  5. Re: FreeBSD 7.1-PRERELEASE panic rw_rlock (udpinp)

    Hi,

That seems to be working. I've been up and running for 2 hours now with
    your patch.

The machine is a bit slow but I have both WITNESS and INVARIANTS
enabled to make sure everything is fine.

    Rergads,
    Mario
