I need to set up a second display to monitor a captured image. If
necessary, it could even be on the console, but ideally it would be on a
second independent monitor. Data rate is 10Hz and image size is 80x80, grey
scale. Not too demanding.

I am looking for a simple way to display from a buffer in a user mode app on
this monitor. Any code snippets or pointers would be appreciated.
