    SequenceVariant
    (0018,0022) CS [SR] # 2, 1
    ScanOptions

Does anyone knows what 'SR' refers to ? I can not find it anywhere
    in there DICOM conformance statement.

For some reason google truncated my subject. The scanner the image is
coming from is a Siemens Avanto.

    thanks

In the DICOM conformance statement document for Siemens Avanto, I
could find the following on page 117/139:

"Scan Options 0018,0022 set by acquisition; used for image annotation"

More information: I believe it referes to 'Structured Report'.
Ironically though, I found that in a GE conformance document:

Yes I know what Scan Options 0018,0022 is. It is fully described in PS
3.3-2007. But none of its defined terms match the one I am looking
    for.

    sigh...
Indeed SR is also an acronym for Structured Report, but is has
absolutely nothing to do with my case, not by any stretch, sorry.

My current guess is that it means Saturation Recovery. But I cannot
find in the DICOM file if the flip angle of the inversion pulse is
    indeed 90 to confirm.

    Thanks anyway,
    -Mathieu
